Build 80315 15 March, 2008	- NEW: The phrase "...were not married" is now only narrated when the corresponding new Report Family option is selected.  This change addresses potential sensitivities regarding the use of this phrase for unmarried partners. - NEW: Users may now select (via a new "General" option) that a specified folder is to be used as an alternative to the Windows standard "My Documents" and "Application Data" folders for the user.  This is primarily for users for whom the standard folders are distributed across a network and it is preferred that they be maintained on the local computer.  See "General" options. - NEW: Support for Unicode and UTF-8 file formats has been introduced.  User-created files, such as description files and custom sections, may now be created as Unicode or UTF-8.  Also, configuration and save/recovery files are managed as Unicode files for users in locales which include characters beyond the standard ANSI character set.  This improvement prepares the path for the future addition of Central European languages (such as Czech, Polish, and Slovak). - IMPROVED: Some changes have been made to the Italian translation file. - CHANGED: Primary pictures (those that are to be included as thumbnails in the narrative sections) are restricted to those defined as level 1 OBJEs within an INDI record.  This addresses an issue for Legacy users (who do not have the ability to not have a "preferred" picture) that would occur when no individual level image exists and an image associated with an event would be processed as an unwanted thumbnail.

Build 80227 27 February, 2008	- IMPROVED: Significant restructuring of the user interface with respect to description files.  This is to improve ease of use of this increasingly popular capability.  The inclusion of descriptions is now directly selected via the expanded "Include..." list for report creation; existing descriptions files may be directly edited from within the "Include..." list.  The previous "Descriptions" options section has been removed.  Parameters for place picture sizes and maps per page are now set within the corresponding sections of the Section Control Panel.  The Section Control Panel is now accessed by the "Sections" button, next to the "Options" button, thus avoiding the need to load the data before configuring sections. - Fixed: Formatting of pictures within the Index of Places - Fixed: The identification of a document via the inclusion of "(Document)" within a note associated with the media item.

Build 80206 6 February, 2008	- NEW: Media option to add single-pixel black frames to images. - NEW: Additional Custom Section control commands (RIGHT, SUBTITLE:UNDERLINE/NOUNDERLINE, FRAME:START/END, FONTSIZE:). - NEW: Support for the non-standard method of expressing dates as quarters (e.g., "Sep Qtr 1886" or "Q3 1886"), as this is the form recorded by some registration sources.   For English language reports, new "Report Dates" options specify how these are to be reported.  For other languages, these will be reported as "about August 1886". - NEW: Separation of unconnected individuals into two categories: associated individuals and unconnected individuals.  Associated individuals are those who are connected only by an ASSO tag; they would otherwise be classified as unconnected.  There are now separate "Associated" and "Unconnected" selectors in the "Include..." list for the report. - NEW: An association is now, by default, also cross-referenced within the associate's narrative as "Associated with...".  This is controlled by the new "Include reverse associations" option (Report Details). - NEW: Unconnected (or associated) individuals who have no family connections of their own are now reported together in a single "Unconnected Individuals" (or "Associated Individuals") section instead of generating one new section for each of them.  This considerably reduces the size of the report when there are many unconnected individuals. - NEW: A "Combine common individual associates" option has been added to the "Family Details" options.  This provides the ability to report an associate of a family (not permitted within the GEDCOM standards) if the same associate data exists for each of the family partners.  The associate is then not reported as an individual associate of each of the partners. - IMPROVED: The selection windows for Unconnected and Associated individuals are larger and are sorted by last name within size of group.  This makes it easier to find  individuals that are to be selected/deselected from large lists. - UPDATED: Some language translations. - CHANGED: "Do not report ASSO/RELA tags" has been removed from the Report Details options and has been replaced by "Ignore ASSO/RELA tags" within the Data Filters options.  (This was necessary to support the above enhancements.)

Version 2008.1 Build 80126 26 January, 2008	- NEW: "Custom Sections".  (This replaces the  Appendices capability.)  Custom sections may now be specified for inclusion after any of the sections of the report.  The user-defined text files may include special control commands, including the ability to include picture images in a custom section.

Build 70111 11 January, 2007	- NEW: Support for ENGA (engagement), DIV (divorce) and ANUL (annulment) family tags. - NEW: Save and Restore of data input.  This option is enabled by default and will result in the results of the Data Load phase being saved to disk.  Subsequently, the Data Input phase will recover the saved data (provided that it is current) instead of re-reading the GEDCOM file. - NEW: CHRA and BAPL are interpreted as alternatives to CHR (christening) and BAPM (baptism) respectively. - IMPROVED: The Data Analysis phase has been restructured and the performance has been very dramatically improved.

Build 70101 1 January, 2007	- IMPROVED: Thumbnail caching for PDF files is now jpg-based (instead of bmp-based).  This change provides a considerable performance improvement for reports containing images. - IMPROVED: The Descendant Chart generator has been restructured to produce an improved sectioning layout for multi-page charts, and to avoid program failure on very large charts. - Fixed: Very large GEDCOM files (over 20 megabytes) will no longer fail to load.

Build 61219 19 December, 2006	- Fixed: The erroneous inclusion of an "Indirectly Related" Contents entry when the Earlier/Later Generation reporting constraint is specified and there are no "in-range" individuals to report with respect to that indirect branch.
